The Switchback is a compact, unobtrusive unit, but donft let its appearance fool you?itfs packed with features. It was originally designed as a device for testing and comparing products in the JHS workshop, but we soon realized it was extremely useful as a piece of gear for many guitarists on stage and in the studio.The Switchback features a single input and output, two switchable send/return channels, and an A/B toggle switch that can also be controlled via the separately sold Red Remote. The footswitch uses a 100% true bypass design, so the signal remains unaffected even when the power is off. 1. A/B True Bypass Looper Connect a single or multiple effects pedals to Loop 1 and Loop 2, respectively. Use the toggle switch or the Red Remote to instantly switch between the two loops. You can easily set up two different loops and switch between the two pedals on the fly without any dead time during your performance. Itfs perfect for situations like comparing whether the sound of an old TS-808 is better than that of a TS-9. It will become an indispensable tool when you want to test out multiple pedals. 2. Single True Bypass Looper Connect the effect pedal you want to use to Loop 1. Use the toggle switch or Red Remote to switch between the effect loop and the clean bypass signal. Since the Switchback automatically bypasses any loop with nothing connected to its jack, there is no need to bridge Loop 2 with a patch cable. 3. A/B Box You can connect Send 1 and Send 2 to two different amplifiers or other devices and switch between the two outputs as needed. Additionally, you can use the Red Remote to control it remotely while playing. 4. Amp Input Selector By connecting Send 1 to Channel 1 and Send 2 to Channel 2, you can use the unit as a channel selector for multi-input amplifiers like old Marshalls or Fenders. 5. Effects Loop A/B With the ampfs effects loop send connected to the Switchbackfs input and the effects loop return connected to the Switchbackfs output, you can switch between the Switchbackfs two loops. By using the Red Remote feature, you can integrate loop effects into your pedalboard or rack, and by simply mounting the 1x1-inch Red Remote on your board, you can access the loops at any time! There are some minor marks, but it shows little wear and is in relatively good condition. There are currently no operational issues. * The item shown in the photos includes all accessories.
