Look up onThe "Muff" fuzz pedal is known to guitarists around the world. It has been in production for many years, and it is well known that it has undergone various design changes over that time. In 1976, the internal transistors were replaced with integrated circuits, or gICsh and gOp-Amps.h This version, produced for only two years until 1978, is known as the gIC Muff.h The sound of this IC version from that era is known for its smashing tone from the gSiameseh period. Itfs a thick, heavy tone. Due to differences in the clipping section compared to standard transistor models?and while many vintage Muff pedals have a sweet tone?the IC-era models produce a more flashy, crunchy tone. The Wren and Cuff Eye See '78 recreates the IC-era Muff sound and circuitry in a compact pedal. Created by "Muff Master" Wren and Cuff, this pedal specifically recreates the 1978 IC Muff model featuring the "Tone-Bypass" switch. The TONE BYPASS switch bypasses the tone circuit to create an open and raw sound. This allows you to experience a different flavor of the Muff sound. Controls VOLUME: Adjusts the volume. TONE: Adjusts the tone. DISTORTION: Adjusts the amount of distortion. TONE BYPASS: A switch that bypasses the tone circuit. When bypassed, the TONE knob is disabled. The Eye See '78 is powered by a standard 9V DC center-negative adapter or a 9V battery.
