The IK Multimedia TONEX Amp Machine Modelling Pedal is a floor-based digital modeller that uses AI Machine Modelling technology to capture and reproduce the sound of real guitar amps, cabinets, and pedal rigs. It is designed to load Tone Models created from actual hardware captures, allowing users to access a large library of amp and rig profiles through the pedal's onboard processing. The unit runs without a computer on stage and supports direct playback of stored models and presets.
It includes a wide ecosystem of downloadable Tone Models and presets via ToneNET, along with onboard signal processing such as EQ, compression, noise gate, modulation, delay, and reverb effects. The pedal also supports IR loading for cabinet simulation and features a high-resolution audio engine with up to 24-bit/192 kHz conversion, wide frequency response, and high dynamic range for detailed signal reproduction.
Connectivity includes MIDI control, expression pedal input, stereo outputs, headphone output, and USB audio interface functionality for recording and integration with DAWs.
