Look up onIn excellent shape and sounds so sweet. The standard for flangers. Someone previously had replaced the 4558 IC chip with a modern one, so I re-replaced that one with a 1978 RC4558 chip for a more authentic feel. They also moved the biasing trimmer to the solder side, though one has to wonder why. The biasing trimmer is a set and forget - the effect only works with the trimmer set to one spot, so it is not something you need to tweak. Then I did a re-cap as the caps were faded enough to warrant this. There was obviously some previous leaky battery damage on the inside, and the battery snaps were replaced with plenty of wire. Also works fine with an 18v adapter. The box is in solid shape, but as this pedal was once in the possession of a Sam Ash store there are stickers on the side and bottom to that effect. The V4 and V5 have the same circuit, but the V5 improved the PCB layout and as a result the controls work/turn as you expect (on the V4 and earlier, they work upside down). Great shape, superior effect. Get your Andy Summers on!
