Very clean, very quiet optical compressor. Two modes: compressor mode ranges from subtle (Comp knob at 7:00) to squashed (5:00), and Sustain mode, which is more subtle and transparent, elevating quiet tones and decaying notes. In sustain mode, the compressor also pauses a split second so as to not squash the attack, preserving dynamics. Really nice pedal, even sounds great for blues and dynamic playing. Can even use as a master volume/tone sweetener at the end of your chain or in your effects loop. Cool pedal. Happy to answer questions. Thanks for looking.
