An incredible envelope filter from 3Leaf Audio that is now unfortunately discontinued. This example is in absolute mint condition. I believe I’m the second owner and the first owner had this as a back-up unit. These had a relatively short production run and Spencer at 3Leaf has said they will unlikely be made again. Also includes the original box and instruction manual. I spent ages searching for one as they very rarely come up for sale. The reason for selling is I have a 3Leaf Proton MK4 which is basically the Chromatron‘s little brother and as much as I like the added features of the Chromatron, having both is too much for my needs. And some information from the instruction manual that might be of interest:The Chromatron is the result of 10 years tweaking, refining and reimagining the state variable filter circuit. It is an optically-controlled analog filter that can switch between envelope control and manual control via expression pedal with the push of a button. The envelope detector is an original design, producing a musical filter response that spans a broad range of tones from vintage quack to future-synth psychedelica.
