Offer Details

The FZ-2 is one of those 1990s Boss pedals that still feels special the moment you plug it in. It is not just a one-sound fuzz box — you get Fuzz I for the bigger, thicker voice, Fuzz II for a sharper and more aggressive edge, and a Gain Boost mode that is genuinely useful in the real world. The separate Bass and Treble controls also make it much easier to shape than many fuzz pedals from the same era, which is a big part of why the original FZ-2 is still so well loved.
This one comes with the original box and manual, which is always a nice bonus on a vintage pedal like this. For players looking for the real mid-’90s Taiwan-made version, the FZ-2 has that unmistakable character: thick, raw, and a little wild, but still surprisingly tweakable once you spend a minute with the EQ. It works great for heavy riffing, nasty garage fuzz, or as a distinctive old-school Boss piece that still earns its place on a board. The original run was made in Taiwan and sold during the 1993–1997 period. For reference, the manual lists DC9V operation by battery or optional PSA-series AC adapter.
