Audio can be input from an instrument, microphone or a line level audio source.Up to 99 loops can be stored on a Compact Flash Type 1 memory card in WAV format, which can later be transferred via USB to a computer for archiving. The included card will record about 25 minutes of audio, while an optional 2GB Compact Flash card will hold over 6 hours of audio.The JamMan has both a microphone and an instrument input allowing it to be used in a variety of situations. For instance, the pedal can be loaded with a drum track, bass line, solo vocal and harmonies, turning it into a "band in box."
