I first heard of this pedal when researching some of the sounds on Alabama Shakes’ Sound and Color, but the range this fuzz can produce is wild. The musket fuzz is based on a big muff but with a mids control (I love muff clipping/texture but hate the overly scooped sound) The musket also has a kind of “pre” gain control that can push the transistors to clip more or less, in addition to the regular gain control that pushes more of the diodes to clip. Useful for different textures for sure!I believe the fix’d fuzz is derived from a fuzz face. However there’s a lot it can do with the switches for multiple fuzz clipping options and the boost circuit. Ranges from spitty 8-bit all the way to a true dirty transistor boost. This unit looks like it’s barely been used at all. Box + manual sheet included. Slight scratches on the bottom plate are the only thing preventing me from marking this “Excellent“ (couldn’t really even get them to show up in photos).
