I owned the original Bluesbreaker pedal back when it came out, as well as well the King of Tone, Snouse and other bluesbreaker influenced pedals and I would take this one any day. It really sounds like the old bluesbreaker but with much, much more control due to the different levels of compression, overdrive/distortion courtesy of the more numerous controls. The original was fat as hell and really unique, but always sounded a little inorganic (pedal tone, etc.). This one solves that issue, giving you beautifully natural drive (or clean) at any setting.
