Look up onThis is a legendary analog pedal that produces a huge range of clean and often trippy filter-matrix, flanger, double-track and of course chorus sounds. The EHX Polychorus was originally produced in the 1980s in the classic sheet-metal housing, then upgraded and reissued around 1999 with production ending around 2010. The listed pedal is a superb example of the 00ās reissues. It appears to have been built around 2004-2005 (the main board reads, ā4-16-04, Poly Chorus, EC-7000, Rev_Dā). Although they appear quite similar, there are several advantages to the reissues over the 80s pedals, including full stereo function. The RI pedals are also generally viewed as superior to the newer cast-metal Polychorus XO. This pedal has 4 knob-adjustable parameters and 4 independent sound modes as well as a switchable sweep filter and stereo outputs. There is an independent on-off switch besides the footswitch to limit popping at power-up. This pedal sounds phenomenal and is in near-mint condition with no dents, dings, rust or Velcro residue and with only a few small surface scratches as seen in the photos. It comes with its original box and Electro-Harmonix 24V power supply.
