Look up onThis is a 1-of-1 Fuzz Face Clone, which features a rare transistor configuration, premium components and a bias adjustment with a voltage meter that lets you see the bias voltage. This unique build utilizes a Germanium black glass OC602 input transistor paired with a rare 1960s Germanium Newmarket NKT279A output transistor. It also includes a Sziklai switch on the right; in the down position, this adds a silicon BC109C transistor to the NKT279A to provide subtle variations in gain and breakup characteristics. I have used high-quality polypropylene capacitors throughout, including a large yellow capacitor to replace the standard 20uf electrolytic unit. These Bigger capacitors are very rarely used even by boutique builders due to their expense, large size and difficulty sourcing but They give the highest clarity and will out last electrolytic capacitors by decades. The resistors are vintage carbon composition salvaged from a 1960s organ. These are highly sought after for the subtle harmonic distortions they add. This pedal also includes the Stolhand Pre-Gain Mod and Linear Potentiometers for the volume and fuzz, making it easier to dial in the sweet spot. Please note that the enclosure has some minor cosmetic blemishes that have been touched up, including a small paint chip near the LCD cutout and a slight wrinkle near one switch. These are documented in the final two photos provided.
