This Caprid was purchased new (pedal made in January 2026) and is in perfect working order. I really like the sound and would keep it but I've already got a handful of Big Muffs and, though this one looks much more reliable than my old pedals, I'm old as well and habitually stick with stuff I've had for decades.If you're looking for a Big Muff, look no further. Hard wired true bypass, tons of sustain. Works with either a 9v power source or a battery. The battery option can be a lifesaver if you're frustrated by extraneous noise and can't find a solution.What makes this Caprid unique is the "Custom Shop" toggle switch addition. The toggle is a Mids switch and, in comparison with some pedals where you have to use your imagination to hear a difference when you flip a switch, well, this is almost like having a second pedal. The Mids toggle switch makes this pedal really versatile.You can expect a pedal that looks flawless, as I've never mounted it on a pedalboard. I include all original packaging and materials, including the little plastic "feet" to stick to the bottom of the pedal. No velcro tape has been anywhere near this pedal!Please ask any questions before placing an order. Also please note that I'm not a shop and can't offer a return window.
