For sale is an exceptionally rare, first-year production Boss BF-2 Flanger, Made in Japan (MIJ).
This is the coveted Silver Screw / Black Label version. If you know your Boss history, you know the silver screw was only used during the first few months of the BF-2's 20-year production run (circa 1980). These early units are famous for their thick, analog sweeping tones—the exact sound used by Robert Smith of The Cure and Prince.

Condition: Good condition, though one knob is not original, and it smells of it's age - Pots are in great shape considering age!

Note for Buyers: This is an ACA circuit pedal. To get the best headroom, it performs best with a 12V supply or a 9V battery (or chained with other modern pedals on a power brick).
