The Riverside is a hybrid analog/digital drive: it combines analog circuitry (JFET) with DSP processing to achieve a very natural yet extremely versatile sound. It can range from clean boost and light overdrive to very powerful distortion. It is designed to sound like a real amp, reacting to the guitar's touch and volume. It offers a wide variety of tube-like tones (inspired by valves).
