As a standalone unit all 8 all-analog circuits are very usable especially with the super fine tuned EQ and sweepable mid frequency. Works well with synths and guitars. Use it with an expression pedal or ramper like the Copilot Autodialer or Pome or Conflict of Interest for customizable distorted envelope filter i.e. Geezer butler bass vibes or a very touch sensitive distortion, overdrive or fuzz. These rampers will take your signal and communicate with the gain knob or kids knob to react to your playing in a very special way! I do this now with the smaller supro drive and kismet drive. Don’t need all the options this pedal offers so I’m thinning the herd after replacing this pedal with a simpler one. Might regret as the fuzz circuit on this pedal is very usable. Happy shopping!
