I bought this little gem as a travel/practice tool, then they released the Tonex Plug, which was even easier to use, so this guy isn't needed anymore. It works great, but I won't say it sounds great because that depends entirely on the captures you use from the library. Get good ones, it sounds perfect, get bad ones, no amount of EQ tweeking will fix it. Last time I checked, there was like over 40k captures on the web, so I was able to quickly find about 100 that I loved(almost all dumbles and matchless; no high gain for me), but this one will be factory reset before I ship it. I don't want anybody stealing from me the tones that I stole from others.I will say that, in my not-so-humble opinion, it sounds better and feels better than an HX Stomp, but of course it doesn't have nearly as many features. Nice compact little guy.I will be including an extra aftermarket USB cable. It still has the factory one but that's USB-c and I have an older laptop. TONEX software still worked great though.
