The sound becomes crunchy, much less aggressive! Finally, the Big Muff can be used as a thick, rich overdrive without necessarily resorting to excessive gain. I use vintage NOS diodes for an organic, tube-like sound.Three-mode Voicing Switch:Soft, Normal, and Hard. This allows you to shape the mids. Finally, you’ll be able to cut through the mix and make yourself heard. The middle position retains the original sound, which is very deep and aggressive. The two new positions offer two levels of mids to perfectly tailor your sound.The two switches combined offer sounds never before heard in this model and provide great versatility.
