The Boss DD-3 is a classic digital delay pedal from the original DD-3 line, featuring a dedicated direct output jack for dry signal and main output for wet. It delivers up to 800 ms of delay time across three ranges set by the Mode knob, with D.Time fine-tuning the exact repeat interval, E.Level blending the delay mix, and F.Back controlling repeats. The footswitch toggles the effect on/off or activates Hold mode for sound-on-sound looping up to 800 ms.It's a no-frills 12-bit digital delay with analog dry path and feedback circuit, giving clean repeats that degrade naturally over multiple echoes. Suited for slapback, ambient trails, or basic rhythmic delays. Frequency response covers 40 Hz to 7 kHz.Power runs on a 9V battery or PSA-series AC adapter.
