This Origin Effects Cali76 Bass Compressor in Super Vintage Blue is in new condition. Purchased from Pedal Empire in February 2026 and used once in a test against my Empress Bass Compressor.Great compressor, this version seems more transparent to me than the previous Compact Bass version. The Cali76's sound great when they are pushed into the harmonic saturation range, but can do a subtle compression easily. Plenty of headroom on tap with this version including an internal 24V uplift from the 9V supply. I am used to the seperate attack and release dials on the Empress, which is the only reason why I am selling the Cali76, which has a single control for this.Cali76 comes with original box, packaging and manual.
