A very versatile Preamp/Distortion/Fuzz/DI pedal for Bass made in collaboration with the legendary Jon Stockman of Karnivool! This little guy directly caused some of the gnarliest, fattest, greasiest tones I've heard coming out of my Spector.It also looks sexy af and lights up like a christmas tree - be warned, your pedalboard might get more attention from the ladies than your insane bass chops.The pedal features two unique distortion types you are able to blend between, along with a mandatory clean blend knob. The level knob modulates the volume of the distorted signal in comparison to the clean signal. There's a 6-band EQ with iconic Darkglass 'Growl' and 'Bite' controls (mid and high boost, respectively), which I find to be very well tuned and musical sounding - perfect for getting your tone to cut through a dense rock/metal mix.Aside from the tone shaping options, the pedal features a balanced XLR output with a ground lift function, a headphone output, and a super useful digital IR loader that can be turned on/off and is applied exclusively to the XLR output, leaving the 1/4" output clean for your bass amp. It also comes with some brutal IRs out of the box, which I made sure to make a copy of before selling ;)You can load your own IRs using the built in usb port and the free Darkglass Suite app.Do keep in mind this is the first version of the A/O Ultra - it's missing the aux audio input found on the v2. To my knowledge, everything else is the same between the two.No original box unfortunately, but I'll make sure to pack it well so it gets to you safely.
