In a world of perfect digital octaves we looked backward. The Double Dragon Lo Fi Octave Device is built on 40 to 50 year old analog octave divider technology the same foundation that powered classics like the MXR Blue Box DOD Octoplus Boss OC 2 Ibanez OT10 and Electro Harmonix Micro Synth.

Play single notes and you have a riff machine. Play a chord and the circuit starts to stutter jump and fight itself creating something new. It is not trying to replicate you perfectly it is trying to play along with you.

The SoundThe Double Dragon is an all analog monophonic octave down and octave up effect. The lower octave is thick analog and full of the character that made vintage octave circuits legendary. The upper octave adds distortion that lands between an Octavia and a Superfuzz with gritty usable bite and a midrange sting that cuts through the mix.
Turn it on and your guitar feels twice the size filling space that once required a full band.
A MilestoneThis is the first dedicated octave device in JHS Pedals history. While octave fuzz has existed in the lineup a true sub octave circuit never felt at home in the brand until now. Weird wild and lo fi done right.
