These Electro Harmonix Pedals with full factory warranties can be seen in our Rapid City, SD showroom.Buy risk free with our 14 day - full refund, less shipping, return policy. Check out our shop policies for more details. The Electro-Harmonix Silencer is a sophisticated noise gate designed to tame unwanted hum and buzz, whether from a single pedal or your entire effects loop. Its intuitive three-control layout makes it easy to fine-tune for your guitar and playing style: Threshold sets the level needed to open the gate, Reduction adjusts how much the signal is lowered (from -70dB to +4dB), and Release controls how long the gate stays open after the signal falls below the threshold, with a wide range from 8ms to 4 seconds. This flexibility allows you to dial in anything from tight, fast gating to smooth, natural decay.Equipped with ΒΌ-inch Input, Output, Send, and Return jacks, the Silencer works equally well inline or within an effects loop. A rugged footswitch selects engaged or bypass mode, with buffered bypass ensuring your effects loop stays active even when the gate is off. Compact and built to last, it runs on a standard power supply or a 9V battery, making it a versatile, road-ready solution for players who demand clarity and control in their rig.Features / SpecsCircuit: AnalogBypass: Buffered bypassControls: Release, Reduction, ThreshInputs: One 1/4" input, one 1/4" returnOutputs: One 1/4" output, one 1/4" sendAudio: MonoCurrent Draw: 22mAPower Supply: 9V battery or power supply (sold separately)Dimensions: 4.5 x 2.75 x 2.1
