The second production run of the TS10 began in 1990 and was manufactured in Taiwan. This version of the TS10 maintains the ever sought after classic blues tone of classic players like Stevie Ray Vaughan and John Mayer and typically features a MC4558 chip.This one however has a JRC4558D 7100 chip and the date code on the capacitor reads week 38, 1987. Must be a transitional one! PCB-TS-0101AThe TS10 is a super cool pedal that sounds great. The bottom plate screws were replaced and bottom was filed down in the corners by a previous owner for whatever reason. Doesn't affect the sound in any way obviously.While the vintage TS808 and TS9 might be more in line to being industry standards, some absolutely prefer either the MIJ or Taiwan built TS10.
