Some pedals were so obviously created in the 1990s that it hurts a little. But hey: the sound doesn't hurt, it feels so good. This is a Uni-VIbe or Leslie style offering, so it doles out the roly-poly rotary speaker goodness. It's a little more midrange focused than some other options, so it has a pleasant bark and snarl to it. You get the normal speed and intensity controls, but this also has a drop control, which makes it behave more like a tremolo as you wind it up, as well as an image knob that adds that high end piquancy as you go to the right. Un-SHODdy work from DOD.
