This is a Boss DD-2 made in Japan August 1984. It has been taken extremely good care of and is in great condition. Zero issues, all pots turn smooth and noiseless. All input jacks and power input are tight and function 100%. Indicator light works perfect. On/off (bypass) switch works perfect with no pops/noise. Powers on with 9v adapter and 9 v battery. The stereo type effect when using both outputs is absolutely awesome. The DD-2 has the SDE-3000 long chip which is one of the best sounding delays in the universe. The Boss DD-2 "long chip" is officially the Roland RDD63H101 custom IC, which was originally developed for the high-end SDE-3000 rack delay unit. It is a large 12 bit digital signal processing (DSP) chip known for its warm, distinctively "analog-like" digital sound, and was used in all DD-2's and early Japanese DD-3's.Always quality packaging and quick shipping.
