Super unique overdrive circuit based on the sound of a pushed vintage rack eq unit (called a Pultec studio eq). This is a low-gain machine that instantly enhances clarity and grit without dramatically altering the core tone of your rig. Has a 3-way toggle to choose which mid-frequencies get boosted. 800hz is in the tube-screamer range, 1Khz is very klon-like, and 1.3Khz brings out a really nice clarity in the attack and upper harmonics without getting honky or nasally. Super slept-on pedal from a top-notch company out of the UK. Also, if you’ve never picked up one of these Origin Effects pedals, these things are built like a tank. Brushed stainless steel is gorgeous and bomb-proof!
