For sale is a really cool Danelectro DJ-1 'Pastrami' Overdrive, dating from about 1999.In the 90s Danelectro sought to rekindle their 50s/60s glory, commissioning a range of pedals with a very clear vintage-influenced design. They were all named after various fast foods and aesthetically resembled classic cars, rather than a blocky guitar pedal. As per the badge, they won a Guitar Player Pick Award at the time and proudly advertised them as such. This one is wholly original, includes the original box and also the elusive 'foot guard', a transparent moulded piece which slots over the pedal's knobs to protect it when gigging. In good used condition, clearly well looked-after and as mentioned comes with the original box. Some great vintage overdrive sounds to be had from this pedal - it punches well above its weight and is a really nice design in my opinion.Naturally, it doesn't come with a PSU/battery - just as pictured.Free shipping to mainland UK via Parcelforce 24, more photos available on my site. List price includes postage and all respective platform fees. I am always open to reasonable offers - if you have any questions or queries then please get in touch!Ollie's Guitars is an independent Nottingham-based business run solely by myself - Ollie. All guitars receive a basic shop setup, including the action being set comfortably, a fresh set of strings and all electronics / pots cleaned (unless otherwise specified). I would recommend having any guitar setup to your preferences following delivery to suit your preferred playing style and string gauge, etc.
