The FX50 Series inherits the sound of the legendary "Overdrive Preamp 250"The FX50 Series, which debuted as the successor to the legendary "Overdrive Preamp 250," began with the "Overdrive Preamp FX50," followed by its improved version with TONE, the "Overdrive Plus FX50B," and then, after minor changes, the "OVERDRIVE PLUS FX50-B," and finally this "OVERDRIVE FX50-B." The DRIVE knob's settings of 9-10 produce dramatic distortion, allowing for sharper, more edgy tones.
