Description

The Boss DS-1 Distortion is a classic analog pedal that's been around since 1978, delivering hard-clipping distortion with a scooped midrange that's great for rock, punk, and metal. It has three knobs: Distortion for gain amount, Tone for EQ shaping, and Level for output volume. The circuit includes a transistor boost stage with highpass filters to cut low-end mud before the distortion hits, keeping things tight even at high settings. It's got buffered bypass, so it works well in longer pedal chains without signal loss. Runs on a 9V battery or standard Boss PSA adapter, with low current draw around 10mA. Built tough in the standard Boss metal enclosure, it's reliable for gigs or studio use. Turns clean pick attack into aggressive crunch that responds to your playing dynamics.SpecificationsDimensions: 2.87 in W x 5.12 in D x 2.38 in HPower requirements: 9V battery or 9V DC adapter, 10mA current drawBypass type: BufferedControls: Distortion, Tone, Level knobsConditionThis item has been tested and is in good working condition.
