The Sweet Honey Overdrive is a low-gain guitar overdrive pedal, designed to be transparent and touch-sensitive with rock & blues players in mind - you'd typically use this to take a clean amp into breakup, or for some extra push in front of an already distorted amp.Listed as good condition, as it's fully functional but there are some light signs of use/age: there are a couple of small knocks on the front and some paint chipping around the rear screws, the knobs have just started to go off-white, and there is some light weathering on the foot switch, but this is all cosmetic and doesn't affect function. The serial number as photographed is SHOD 1269, if I had to guess I'd say that means it was made in 2012, but I don't know for certain. It's definitely an earlier model. The pedal can be switched on if the input jack is connected [and it has power], no ancilliaries included i.e. no box/no power supply/no battery, but it can be powered off a generic 9V center-negative pedal power supply, or a 9V PP3 battery. The battery connector can be accessed by unscrewing the rear panel (see last image).Selling as it's surplus to requirement - most of what I play is too high gain for it to work on my board at the moment.£139 ONO, cash on collection preferred but postage can be arranged within mainland GB.
