Pedal sounds amazing with it's loud, true vintage thick fuzz tones -- I am including an adapter with it to be able to plug into any 9VDC plug. The pedal can take battery however, I have never tried to open it up and put a pattery in. I would just use the plug if I were you, it's best to take care of vintage electronics carefully. The pedal has been kept in a box, free of dust and other sh*t, it is lightly used in a recording studio setting. Get it now for that unmistakable warm, rich tone unlike anything else. A real treasure from the late 70's here.
