Description

The legendary Lovetone Meatball purchased from CWJ Pedals in 11-2022 - https://reverb.com/uk/shop/cwjpedals, see original sale link, https://reverb.com/uk/item/60336263-lovetone-meatball. See that the pedal's in the condition it was purchased in back in 2022. it was purchased back in 2022.This is my 2nd Meatball. I originally had the set of four: the meatball, Doppelgänger. Brown Source and the Big Cheese, mounted on the Lovetone pedalboard, after meeting Vlad and Dan back in 1995. I gigged with that board extensively, but stupidly sold it in 2008. I repurchased this Meatball in 2022 to recreate my sound from the late 90's, early 00's for gigs and recording, but now I no longer require it, so I'm reluctantly resisting so somebody else can enjoy its extensive sound scaling capabilities. It's truly unique.Item DescriptionThe Lovetone Meatball is a rare, boutique envelope filter pedal known for its versatile, analog sound, capable of creating wah, phase, and flanger effects. Produced in the 1990s, it features a complex, shapeable filter controlled by an internal trigger and a wide range of knobs, allowing for both subtle and wild modulation for guitar, bass, and synths. The Meatball, originally released in 1995 and hand-built in the UK by Dan Coggins and Vlad Naslas, has gained a cult following and is a sought-after piece of boutique analog gear due to its unique sound possibilities. It has been used by famous artists and producers such as The Beastie Boys, Dan Auerbach (The Black Keys), J Mascis (Dinosaur Jr), Kirk Hammett, Ed O'Brien (Radiohead), and Kevin Shields (My Bloody Valentine). The pedals are in full working condition. I'll throw in the correct power lead that will plug into the majority of power supplies, such as the MXR brick, Strymon units, VoodooLab, etc. It's serial No. M B 0999 (see pic). The item is sold as seen. The unit has rare and tear marks; see pics again. Considering its age, it's in great condition. It doesn't come with the original box or instructions
