About the Unicorn Account

Description

The Vox Valvenergy Cutting Edge is a high-gain distortion pedal using Nutube for tube-like response and harmonics. It delivers tight, aggressive modern metal tones with an all-analog signal path and internal voltage boost to 15V for more headroom and dynamics. Controls include Gain, Volume, Treble, Middle, Bass, and Tight knobs, plus a Mode switch for STANDARD, PREAMP, or CAB-SIM outputs, making it versatile as a pedal, direct preamp, or recording amp sim with analog cab emulation.
There's a high-contrast OLED display showing an oscilloscope waveform that reacts to your settings and indicates the current mode. The Link jack lets you chain multiple Valvenergy pedals with a 1/8" stereo cable or splitter to switch between them like amp channels. Buffered bypass keeps your signal intact.
Power draw is high at 95 mA, so it recommends an AC adapter over battery for reliability.
