This pedal rules. Classic MXR blue box tones only louder and with an option to get -1octave sounds as wellBOOST:If you've ever used blue box you may have been dealing with an annoying slight volume cut when engaged. I fixed this with a proper active boost on a daughter board that lives in the battery compartment*. This offers plenty of volume and without changing the original tone. (This is NOT the component clip mod which only made bluebox brighter not louder!) * for this reason this pedal can not accept a 9Vbattery, run this pedal off of standard adaptor onlyOCTAVE SELECT:Secondly I have a switch that allows you to use the blue box as either -1 or -2 octaves. Mind you the “octave“ still scrambles around as intended, you can choose to have it mostly landing in the -1 or -2 octave range. Fun!
