The Keeley Compressor Plus is a straightforward compressor with sustain and expander functions. It limits peaks for even dynamics and adds gain as notes fade for better sustain. Controls include Sustain for compression amount, Level for output, Blend to mix dry and compressed signals keeping your attack intact, and Tone to boost harmonics lost in compression. A Release switch toggles settings optimized for single coils or humbuckers, making it easy to dial in punch without tweaking attack/release manually.
It's built on Keeley's long experience with compression, handling guitars from funk chicken-picking to ambient swells. The parallel blend preserves phasing and transients, so it sits naturally in a mix. True bypass keeps your tone clean when off.
