This is my Boss DA-2 Adaptive Overdrive Pedal. The pedal is in very good condition with minor cosmetic scratches for a pedal of its age. In my opinion this is one of the more unique overdrives that Boss developed. It is a dynamic response overdrive, so the dirt changes with the level of touch to your playing. I used it for a few recording sessions and it worked really well. It was useful for me when I was playing softer cleaner parts, but it needs just a little bit more oomph and sustain it works really well as opposed to trying to figure a way to push the front of your amp to get some level of break up without crushing gain. Once I had the tone captured, I saved the sounds I wanted as a plug in. I think it would work well in a live situation and I did use it in rehearsals, but only for a handful of songs. I never had it mounted to a pedal board so the back is clean.I have put a YouTube link for a session that I used the pedal on so you can hear it better,
