This is a clean Boss IR-2 amp and cab simulator that has been upgraded with York IRs. The stock sounds out of this when purchased new was cool but it very much sounded like solid state emulations to my ears. The York IRs give it some life and another dimension that, to me, sound more realistic. The upper-mids and highs also sound more pleasant than the stock IRs. You can reset the pedal to factory sounds if you want but would lose the IRs. Great pedal for those gigs where you don’t want to bring an amp but also don’t want to haul around a Quad Cortex or something, or just a great headphone amp for quiet playing at home. Can also work out a local Los Angeles area pickup as well. Let me know if you have any questions!
