The Pigtronix Philosopher's Rock is a compact, all-analog optical compressor and sustainer pedal featuring a built-in Germanium distortion circuit ("Grit"). Designed for maximum sustain without noise, it provides a very wide range of compression, from subtle to "squashed," while keeping your signal clean. The dedicated "Grit" toggle switch adds a creamy, tube-like harmonic overdrive that can turn the pedal into a thick distortion, perfect for lead tones or slide guitar.
