The Double Dreamer delivers creamy tones, detailed response, and wide-ranging articulation—times two—by combining our Tubedreamer and Lucydreamer overdrives into one compact, 100% handmade enclosure. Designed for maximum tonal flexibility and real-world practicality, it features a dedicated high-gain-stage footswitch, a 3-way toggle that assigns that footswitch to the Tubedreamer, the Lucydreamer, or both, and internal dip switches that convert the IN and OUT jacks into individual send/return loops for each side, making advanced switching, flexible signal-chain placement, or even lush parallel stereo setups possible. The Tubedreamer on the left is our refined take on the iconic 808-style overdrive, with a carefully voiced midrange for warm, rich drive, asymmetrical clipping via three diodes for enhanced touch sensitivity, and the classic JRC4558D chip at its core. On the right, the Lucydreamer offers a dry/wet overdrive with a flatter mid response, increased low-end presence, and an exceptionally wide gain range—from dynamic, amp-like breakup to full, saturated drive—while retaining excellent chord clarity, thanks to its unique clipping approach and “secret” chip. Used together, the two sides unlock new and inspiring gain structures, with up to six distinct gain stages available in real time, all controlled via soft-click relay switching.
