Description

This is the classic Boss PH-1R Phaser built in Japan by Roland in 1981. This one has been well taken care of and is 100-percent functional...but the case definitely shows its age. Please see the pics. It's a black-label with silver battery cover screw and the hand-stamped serial #0300 inside the pedal lid. Note that I had a horrible time getting the 30-yr old velcro off the back of it without hurting the label. So, there is some wrinkling and bits of adhesive still there on it. There are several internal pics I got before spraying the pots with Caig Fader Lube and the jacks with DeOxit (they all worked flawlessly prior, but I figured some minor maintenance wasn't a bad idea while I had it open). These PH-1r's are simply the most lush/deep-sounding phaser pedals ever built IMO. They sound especially spectacular on Wurlitzer and Rhodes electric pianos. This one is a completely healthy survivor with glorious "patina" and/or "natural relicing" (if that's your aesthetic thing). I hate to part with it, but I simply don't use it. Note that I am working remotely during the week and won't be able to ship out until Saturday mornings. Shipping is free to anywhere in the CONUS48. I will not ship this out of the country. Sorry.
