I am selling my Boss 500 pedals - see my other listings - and among them is the DD-500, the amazing digital delay that sits on the shoulders of generations of amazing Boss delay pedals. According to their own website, it is “the most powerful and versatile stompbox delay ever created”. It definitely is very powerful, extremely versatile and doesn’t disappoint on quality. It contains digitally recreated models of iconic Boss/Roland echoes, stuff like the Tera Echo and the Space Echo, to name a couple. On top of that, it can play two different echo algorithms at the same time, set up each to their own tempo and tuning. Also worth noting:32-bit 96 kHz sampling rate / signal processing, and has something similar to Strymon’s analog drive through (your signal remains analog, the digitally created parts are simply added to it)full MIDI implementationexpression that can control a choice of parametersworks in mono or stereohas a decent desktop app for editing patches (connects via USB) extremely tweakable, allows deep editing - whether by using the software or simply diving into the onboard menuscomes with a DeskSaver dust cover that was purchased separatelycan even run on batteries (4xAA)I bought the DD-500 to replace my old Timeline and I have to say it is superior to the Strymon device - to my ear anyway. Only selling because I have several other devices that cover similar ground, and I need to downsize. I know I’ll miss it but such is life.Note on item conditionPerfect working order. Excellent used condition, no obvious blemishes on the face of the pedal. Minor marks and scratches - usually on the underside and bottom, not on the face - are consistent with light studio use. Pedalboard tape on the bottom. Will be shipped in the original box, with the original user documentation - although you’ll do well to check the Boss website for updates. No PSU - it takes standard centre negative 9V DC current, at least 200 mA.A DeckSaver will be included as stated above.
