Description

Modded Boss GE-7 Graphic EQ in very good condition. 18v mod and frequency mod etc. The back plate has been replaced with a flat one to more easily mount the pedal to a board. I do have the original one somewhere, if I can find it I'll send it along, but it is not included in this listing as I'm not exactly sure where it is. This is a great pedal. I used it pretty consistently for a couple years and was always happy with it. It's quiet and the range of frequencies are very useful. It's a great clean boost or "underdrive" along with being a great EQ. From the builder:Boss GE-7 Graphic Equalizer modified for low-noise output, 18v operation, and smoother treble controls.Modifications include:3x NE5532 op-ampsFrequency adjustment - 100, 200, 400, 800, 1420, 2760, 4550HzElectrolytic capacitor replacementOrange water clear LEDBrand new footswitch rubber grommetGenuine Roland plain backplate - Velcro sticks to this oneBrand new slider capsRefurbished mechanically and electronically, this is my modernised take on a timeless classic. The EQ has been tuned to give more control over the critical high frequencies, with significantly less noise at extreme settings. Lower frequencies with a wider Q makes it much easier to find the sweet spot with small moves on the sliders. All electrolytic capacitors have been replaced - extending the functional life of the pedal, enabling 9-18v input, and reducing noise.Serial: NP81748Made in Taiwan, May 2002
