This is a limited-edition version of the popular Bondi Effects “Sick As” Overdrive line. The “Blackout” tag refers mainly to the special colour/finish and the limited nature. The core circuitry: It builds on the “Sick As Overdrive Mk3” platform (or at least the later version of the Sick As). For example: internal boost to ~18 V for increased headroom/clarity. The “High Shredroom” descriptor signals that this version is tailored for higher-gain, more aggressive use (versus the more moderate overdrive aim of the standard Sick As). The mid-range focus has been narrowed (i.e., less mid-boxy), top and bottom end opened up, making it more articulate and aggressive.
