This pedal has been kept in a smoke-free, temperature and humidity-controlled studio for the duration of ownership, and I am the original owner; it it largely unused studio stock, the equivalent of 'Opened Box'. The M-115 Distortion III is known for being more of an overdrive-style pedal with dynamic, touch-sensitive response, amp-like overdrive tone, and a proprietary circuit design that delivers rich harmonics. Sonically similar to an Ibanez Tube Screamer, it can cover anything from low-gain break-up to high-gain crunch/distortion. It has the standard high-quality MXR metal casing, controls for Output, Tone, and Distortion, an LED indicator light (red), can be powered via 9-volt battery or a standard AC adapter, and features true bypass switching.
