Cool, rare fjord fuzz pedal! In a lot of ways it is similar in tone to the Beserk Fuzz Face (despite having a very different circuit), but Kvasir can get slightly more aggressive and over the top sounding than Beserk. Both have an overall volume/level control, with Berserk having a little more on tap. Beserk also has a fuzz amount control, which lets it get into some overdrive territory (but not really germanium-style cleanup, but rather, silicon style od), along with a low end cut control. Kvasir also has the low end cut control, but rather than a gain control (its gain is always dimed), it has a bias control, which allows it to get the more velcro, gated, and glitchy tones that the Beserk doesn't really do. So it can get much grittier and nastier than the Beserk, closer to something like a Fenris, but without the emphasis on octave.
