If you’re searching for this you probably know what it’s capable of, but just in case you don’t….Roland made a famous tape echo (RE-201 Space Echo) which had magnetic tape and a spring reverb tank. Check out videos of it, it’s pretty cool. However, they can be finnicky and are a pain to lug around, and now we have the Boss RE-20, a twin-pedal unit that although digital, brings a fantastic-sounding recreation which is entirely portable and durable. This thing is a lot of fun, with a tremendous amount of echo/reverb options, and great presets to use as launchpads to get just about any kind of dilation effect you need. It’s warm, it’s easy to use, and while it’s easy to get lost in a world of tweaking, it’s also easy to find something that sounds good very quickly. Spacey, dreamy, shoe-gaze-capable. It’s also built like a tank. The LEDs make a smiley face. That doesn’t have any impact on the sound, but it makes it even more pleasant to play when lights are low. Check out the video tagged below for a real good demo. DelayReverbTapStereoAwesomeThis unit is mint and has had one owner who (selfishly, but doesn’t care what you think) never let it out of the house. I’m downsizing and really want it to go to a good home. It comes with everything originally in the box, including the shiny new, shrunk-wrap batteries from Boss. They may be dead, five years on, but who knows. If you’d rather it didn’t ship with them let me know and I’ll recycle them. It did not come with a power supply, but a standard 9v will work. Thanks for looking, and let me know if you have any questions.
