This model is an overdrive pedal with a circuit emulating the tone of a 1960s Supro amp. The Hi/Low toggle switch allows you to adjust the gain, just like the Hi/Low inputs on amps from the 1950s and 1960s. The Hi setting provides high headroom, a strong upper midrange, more intense distortion, and a rock 'n' roll sound. The Low setting provides a cleaner tone with a slightly darker, mellower tone.
