The fabled Analogman Beano Boost! This thing is amazing for getting classic yet just-left-of-center drive tones, especially through British style amps. I've had this one a couple of years and have put very little time on it. My Vox loves it!This one is powered by a 2SB171 transistor, a lower gain germanium that has an excellent range of sounds, from a just slightly-pushed fuzz to all out anarchy. It's very responsive to your volume and tone control and pickup selections, and the three-way switch used to select treble, middle or bass frequencies only adds to the fun. If you want an unfussy, well-EQ'd booster that can do cool stuff in any style, this is your pedal! The pedal has an on/off switch built into the pot. Fully counter-clockwise, the pedal clicks off completely and will not engage even if the switch is pushed....a handy feature to save the battery (note: there is no adapter port)! Also comes with box, feet and satchel (no literature, though).FULL DISCLOSURE TIME: It had been a few months since I fired this up, and when I first tested it the stomp switch "missed" a couple times and wouldn't engage. A couple of cycles and it was back to normal. I hit the switch with a tiny amount of Deoxit F5 just to be sure and it's working as if brand new now. Just want that out there as you decide whether to buy.Selling pedal AS-DESCRIBED, but happy to work with buyer on a reasonable solution if something goes wrong during shipping. Buyers in the continental US only, please. Please allow up to 48 hours for shipping once payment is submitted. Feel free to hit me up with any questions!
