The legendary DOD sound reproduced in the modern age The JHS PEDALS Overdrive Preamp is an overdrive pedal that faithfully reproduces the early models of the 1970s DOD Overdrive/Preamp 250, with simple LEVEL and GAIN controls, and two selectable clipping modes: Germanium and Silicon. Clipping mode can be switched between germanium and silicon. It offers a wide variety of sound makeup, from warm, rounded distortion to clean, sharp distortion. While maintaining the historical character of the original DOD, this unit is designed to be easy to handle for the modern guitarist and can be used in all genres.
